The way of the world...

My family - parents anyway - came and visited, watched the show - loved the show...
My brother is in Taiwan.....sister in Colorado, harder for them to make it.....

I did the curtain speech before the show...or rather I tried to do the curtain speech before the show.
It was rather interesting...and I think my voice cracked when I said hello, adn welcome to Fort Peck...
Ahhhhhhh isn't life grand.

The parents met the girl, and a majority of the company...
I never told her, but I was just as nervous...maybe more so...
Been a LONG time since I introduced a girl to the folks...
I knew they'd like her though, I do, so why was I nervous - don't know...

Over half way in Annie, over half way in the summer...
Where did it all go, why is it going so fast?
Summer always goes quickly, but this summer seems to be quicker than any before.

Life contnues on at it frenetic pace...and I just try and keep up...
Somedays are better than others...

I feel like I should be doing something, but alas I know not what to do...
I am doing well at being off book...
Thought I needed to be for yesterdays rehearsal, not to be.....never even got on stage.
I like to block and memorize, the movement helps me to remember my lines...
Although it appears I may have to learn them just from reading...
Being illiterate it makes it hard to do that...

This morning the fam and girl and I all went to breakfast,
I wasn't sure whether or not to pick the ginormous table or not...
I hope those at the annex table didn't feel left out, as that was not the intention...
My parents love the wee one, and enjoyed meeting the rest...

Off I go to "work".....
I feel guilty on days like this...
